Office of Admissions hosts CSU Connect April 24

April 21, 2009

The Office of Admissions will be hosting CSU Connect on Friday, April 24. CSU Connect is an orientation program that is specially formatted for admitted students from ethnically and racially diverse backgrounds or who will graduate from select partner high schools. For over twenty years, this program has offered support to students and their families by preparing them for their exciting educational adventure ahead.

Orientation program for admitted, diverse students

During CSU Connect, students and their families have the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students to learn about the wealth of resources available at Colorado State University. One key aspect of the program is the opportunity to meet with an academic adviser and register for fall classes.

Additionally, participants interact with other incoming freshmen in small group sessions throughout the day and have the opportunity to meet with financial aid counselors, housing representatives, and representatives from Student Diversity Programs and Services.

Banquet features entertainment from student groups

The event is concluded with a banquet that will feature entertainment from CSU student groups:

  • Resonant RAMblings
  • Quetzalcoatl Dance Group
  • Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
  • Club Kulturang Pilipin@
