Transfer Retention Study now available

March 8, 2011

The Transfer Retention Study, produced annually by Institutional Research, is now available on the IR web site.

The study provides graduation, persistence and attrition rates for transfer cohorts entering Colorado State University. The study focuses on the 2009-10 academic year cohorts with primary emphasis given to the fall 2009 cohort. Cohorts are defined as undergraduate resident-instruction (RI) students who transfer to CSU from another institution and enter as full-time in their first term here.

First-time information

Publication of the study is usually a fall activity, but was delayed this year in order to incorporate constructive feedback from the campus community. For the first time, information has been provided on first-generation students and there are now direct comparisons between new freshmen and transfer students. Graduation rates and persistence rates by college are also now provided.
