National Peace Corps Week is March 2-6

The Peace Corps is working in emerging and essential areas such as information technology and business development, and committing more than 1,000 new Volunteers a year. Peace Corps Volunteers continue to help individuals who want to build a better life for themselves, their children, and their communities.

National Peace Corps Week

All of the listed events below are highlighting different CSU returned Peace Corps volunteers. They will be sharing slides and stories of where they served and there will be Peace Corps information at each of the events.

All presentations will be held in the Lory Student Center, Room 210.

Tuesday, March 3
  • 11 a.m.-12 p.m.  Asia: Engineering & Water Resource in the Philippines
  • 12-1 p.m.  Peace Corps Master’s International Information Session
Thursday, March 5
  • 11 a.m.-12 p.m.  Africa: Math/Science Teaching in Malawi
  • 12-1 p.m.  Africa: Agriculture in Niger
Friday, March 6
  • 4-5 p.m.  South Pacific: Teaching English and Community Development in the Solomon Islands
  • 5-5:45 p.m.  Eastern Europe: Community Development in Moldova
