As part of TILT's "My Favorite Lecture" series, Professor Stephen Thompson will give his favorite lecture, "Fire in the Mind." The lecture involves a fire eating performance by Thompson, which will be his last performance ever.
Stephen Thompson with the Center for Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education, professor of chemistry, and University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, will give his favorite Lecture, titled "Fire in the Mind," on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 4:15 p.m. as part of the TILT Learning Program's "My Favorite Lecture" series.
Dr. Thompson, who has performed fire eating in the circus and all over the world, will give his last fire eating performance ever during this lecture.
The lecture, "Fire in the Mind," will juxtapose the science and poetics of fire. The audience will also be involved in this fascinating lecture.
