Spring Career Fair Feb. 3

Today, experts are telling job seekers that perhaps the least effective way of trying to find a job is to sit at a computer and surf job sites. Meeting employers face-to-face definitely has its advantages. The Career Fair at CSU, open to CSU students and graduates, provides an excellent opportunity for you to connect with employers to inquire about employment and internship opportunities.

In keeping with the Career Center's goal of helping students "find their fit," the Spring 2010 Career Fair will help students discover satisfying careers and work which will make use of their talents and skills!

This event is only open to students and graduates of CSU. The fair will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Lory Student Center's Main Ballroom.

Connect with employers

This event is the kick-off to spring semester recruiting. The Career Fair provides an excellent opportunity to connect employers with students to discuss current and/or future career-related employment and internship opportunities.

There will be 116 employers looking to discuss employment and internship opportunities with CSU students and alumni. Don't miss your chance to stand-out, come to the Career Fair prepared with copies of your resume and dressed in business casual attire.

Preparing for the Career Fair

If you have any questions or want to polish up your networking skills and resume, you may contact the Career Center today for an appointment with a career counselor at (970) 491-5707. 

Resume Rush is being offered on Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Duhesa Study Lounge.  Students who have last minute Career Fair questions or need their resume critiqued by a career counselor are welcome to attend.
