Veterinary Research Posters Session Aug. 2

The veterinary research interns poster session is the culmination of an eleven-week, faculty-mentored program in which students enjoy a rich diversity of research experiences. The event will be held in the foyer of the Pathology Building and is open to the public.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is hosting the Summer Veterinary Research Interns Poster Session on Monday, Aug. 2 from 3-5 p.m. in the Pathology building foyer. 

Veterinary students participating in the Summer Research Intern Program are sponsored by Merial, Morris Animal Foundation and the American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners.

Results of laboratory research

The students are going to present posters depicting their participation in laboratory research in one of the five major research areas of the College:

  • Neuroscience
  • Orthopedics
  • Reproduction
  • Infectious diseases
  • Oncology 

Presentations will travel to national symposium

The poster display will serve as a practice session for presentations that some of the students will make at the 10th Annual Merial-NIH National Veterinary Scholars Symposium at the University of Georgia in early August.
