A growing knowledge base drawn from the latest research and practice in human nutrition coalesce in the Lillian Fountain Smith Nutrition Conference, held annually at Colorado State. The conference attracts attendees from all over the United States.

The 2012 Lillian Fountain Smith Conference, “Nutrition and Health through the Life Cycle,” is being held on Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8.

Gain the most current, objective, and authoritative information available in selected areas of human nutrition. The conference speakers have all made nationally-recognized contributions to nutrition research or practice.

This conference, including the affordable registration costs, are supported annually by the Lillian Fountain Smith Trust, established by Mr. and Mrs. J. Smith and their children to honor Mrs. Smith, a 1918 graduate in home economics at Colorado State University (then Colorado A&M).

People from across the United States have attended this conference during the last three decades. It is an honor to continue this legacy.
