Enjoy a Honduran dinner and carnival

April 30, 2009

Do you know where Honduras is? What they're known for and who lives there? Have you ever even heard of Honduras before this moment?!

If you can answer yes, or even better no, then you should come learn a little bit more about the diverse world you live in through food, fun and friendly faces.

Come to dinner this Saturday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church at 1709 W. Elizabeth Street.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Everyone is welcome, don't let the location get in your way, we'll be having dinner with homemade tamales and lots of sides with a Honduran Carnival and a short informational slide show about the Honduras Children program that is put on by PeaceWork.

Come as you are and be ready to be welcomed!!

All proceeds and donations will go to helping tutor Honduran Children by sending 4 CSU students to the heart of the problem at the end of May.

If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us, we'd love to talk to you. Call (970) 482-8487 or e-mail the Geller Center for Spiritual Development, on Howes, at
