Food for Fines Now through Dec. 20

Parking Services is offering to reduce your parking citation fine by $5 in exchange for the donation of a non-perishable food item. Those who have multiple citations can bring in as many donations as they have citations.

Share some food and save some cash! From now through Friday, Dec. 20, bring in a non-perishable food donation and receive $5 off your citation fine, or reduce an elevated citation fine to its original amount.

  • Only one donation will be allowed per citation
  • People with multiple citations may bring in as many donations as they have citations.

All donations must be taken to the Parking Services office in the Lake Street Garage and presented at the time of payment to receive a discount.

This offer is not valid on citations which have already transferred to University Accounts Receivable.

12,000 pounds of food!

The CSU Parking Services Food for Fines program collects donations for the Food Bank for Larimer County in exchange for discounts on parking citation fines. Parking Services has donated over 12,000 pounds of non-perishable food since 1998 through Food for Fines.
