Holiday Gala concerts Dec. 2-5

November 30, 2010

Kick off the holiday season with CSU's popular holiday concerts. The School of the Arts will offer four concerts this year instead of two, to accommodate the popularity of these holiday shows.

A sleigh-load of fun

Join us for a sleigh-load of fun at the CSU holiday concert series this December -- four concerts, 12 ensembles, and 500 musicians.

The School of the Arts has expanded the number of shows this year from two to four concerts, as well as expanded the repertoire of musicians performing.

Each night will feature a combined finale, and various combinations of:

  • CSU Choirs
  • University Symphony Orchestra
  • Faculty Brass Quintet
  • Percussion Ensemble
  • Jazz Combos
  • Flute Choir
  • Graduate String Quartet
  • Percussion Ensemble
  • Wind Ensemble

The choirs and ensembles will perform a charming program of both traditional secular and sacred holiday music.

Colorado State University’s Holiday Gala concerts will be performed on Dec. 2, 3, and 4 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday Dec. 5 at 2 p.m., in the Griffin Concert Hall at the University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St.
