Recognition and Motivation training

This highly popular workshop provides employees, leaders and supervisors with tools beyond money and days off for keeping motivation and recognition thriving in a working environment.

Recognition and Motivation training is available at no cost though CSU's Training and Organizational Development.

Motivating and recognizing employees is one of the top challenges facing supervisors and managers in the university workplace today. In this four hour module participants will:

• Explore the relationship between motivation and recognition
• Identify the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation
• Learn powerful ways to motivate employees, and to help your leaders recognize and motivate you,
• Discuss effective ways to recognize employee performance, and
• Find ways to let motivation and recognition help unlock the potential of employees and their supervisors

Participants will walk away with tools to reinforce CSU’s values and to promote excellence throughout the University.

When: Thursday, June 11, 8 a.m. - noon, or Thursday, July 9, 8 a.m. - noon (attend one)

Who should attend: Open to CSU faculty and staff.
