Nominate someone for a Distinguished Alumni Award

September 28, 2009

We all know someone connected to Colorado State University who has excelled in their career, volunteer work, or academic endeavors. Take the time to recognize that person's achievements, and nominate that person for a Distinguished Alumni Award. Anyone can nominate a CSU alumnus or friend for these awards.

Nomination process

The nomination process requires:

  • answers to several questions about the person’s personal endeavors and commitment to the University
  • a resume or vitae of the nominated person
  • supporting documents such as letters of recommendation, newspaper clippings, or other awards

Bring honor to Colorado State

Not all awards require the recipient to have a degree from CSU - but they all require a dedication to the person’s industry or community, and bring honor to the University.

Candidates may be considered for one award category per year and individuals may only receive one award every five years.
