Rams Volleyball hits the home court

September 4, 2013

Rams Volleyball has one of the most distinctive and effective home courts in the nation, Moby Arena. With its huge crowds and intimate on-court feel, Moby Arena is known for Moby Madness -- the roar of fans supporting Ram volleyball and contributing to the team's remarkable home court success.

High expectations have been placed on the Colorado State Volleyball squad, despite the loss of four senior starters from last year’s Mountain West championship team.

The Rams were picked to finish second in the 2013 preseason poll. The announcement was made by the Mountain West Conference after a vote from the league’s 11 head coaches.

Junior setter Deedra Floss was named to the all-MW preseason team, one of seven players honored.

Head Coach Tom Hilbert recently announced two additions to the 2013 roster: Cayla Broadwater, a senior who was on the CSU track and field team in 2012-2013 who will play middle blocker and opposite hitter; and national champion setter Lauren Van Orden, who will serve as volunteer assistant coach.
