Tumbling Dice at the Lagoon July 24

July 18, 2013

'Annie's obviously the star of the show,' says a fan of Tumbling Dice, "which is probably why she thinks she can get away with being such a trouble maker... but, it's good trouble that you all make!'

Annie Gavin sings vocals for Tumbling Dice. With her powerhouse of a voice, Gavin can do it all, from Miranda Lambert to Bonnie Raitt to Martina McBride.Wednesday, July 24

The Wednesday, July 24 Lagoon concert features Tumbling Dice!

Tom Duke, who sings vocals and plays bass guitar for the group, says that the band is looking forward to performing the third concert of the 2013 Lagoon Summer Concert Series.

"It's a thrill to play at CSU"

"It's always nice to play outdoors in the summer time," Duke said. "We play so many gigs in bars and nightclubs on tiny stages. It's a thrill to be able to play on a bigger stage in front of a new crowd.

"We try to do a wide variety of material from old style country to the current hits of today. This includes songs from Johnny Cash to Miranda Lambert to Zac Brown. We're constantly adding new material to our repertoire."

Hard work, talent = great band!

Tumbling Dice is in high demand in country music venues all over Colorado. Since band members also have "day jobs," they have a very demanding schedule.

"We're scattered up and down the front range," Duke said. "A couple of us live in Colorado Springs and the rest of us live in the Denver area. Practice is difficult to coordinate."

One reviewer of Tumbling Dice calls them, "hands down, the hardest working country music band in the state of Colorado. Dynamic, live performances by talented professionals are important keys to their success as well."

"Pleasing crowds and keeping the dance floors packed explains why we're in such high demand," says the band.

Bringing the party to the stage

Armed with a powerful rhythm section, rockin’ lead guitar, and impeccable vocal performances, this band brings the party to any stage.
