Save on tickets to the National Western Stock Show

Colorado State's Alumni Association is offering $14 and $15 rodeo tickets to CSU students, faculty, staff, family, and friends on CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show, Saturday, Jan. 16. Tickets include entry to the Stock Show grounds, the 11 a.m. Pro Rodeo, mutton bustin' competitions, entertainment, and more.

CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show is Saturday, Jan. 16.

CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show in Denver will be filled with rodeo, giveaways, and plenty of green and gold. 

The National Western Stock Show is Jan. 9-24 at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St., Denver. CSU Day at the Stock Show is Saturday, Jan. 16.

CSU Day will include free giveaways, discounted rodeo tickets, pictures with CAM the Ram mascots, and appearances by CSU System Chancellor Joe Blake and CSU President Tony Frank.  

What tickets include

Your $14 or $15 rodeo ticket includes entry to the Stock Show grounds, the 11 a.m. Pro Rodeo, mutton bustin’ competitions, entertainment and more.

Plan to stop by the CSU exhibit booth, located on the third floor of the Hall of Education, for information on academic programs, giveaways and more.

Tour CSU’s Ag Adventureland at Children’s Ranchland, an interactive exhibit in conjunction with several Colorado commodity groups located next to the CSU booth, that will help teach children about animal husbandry and agriculture.

Longstanding partnership

Colorado State University has a long and storied connection to the National Western Stock Show, one of Denver's and the Rocky Mountain West's most anticipated annual traditions. 

Today, the partnership between the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State remains strong.

"They are the largest individual scholarship donor in the College of Agricultural Sciences," said assistant director of development Kris McKay. "In 2009-10, the NWSS awarded 26 scholarships to CSU Agriculture students." 


Discounted National Western Stock Show tickets are available for all people with connections to Colorado State University. Students, faculty, staff, family and friends qualify for a no-limits special offer. The only requirement is to say that you heard of the offer through Colorado State, and you will be eligible for discounted prices on reserve seating at select National Western Stock Show events.
