CU Denver/Aurora chancellor steps down

M. Roy Wilson, the chancellor of the University of Colorado campuses in Denver and Aurora, is resigning from both positions effective June 30.

Wilson, who still has a year remaining in a five-year contract with the university, will have new responsibilities for the remainder of his contract. He will be looking at how to secure increased funding for higher education and how to increase the nation's health care work force.

Wilson will assume the title of chancellor emeritus.
