Environmental Action Collective & Finding Racial and Economic Equality joint general interest meeting

February 24, 2009

Passionate about social and environmental justice? Want to have an impact on campus and in the Fort Collins community?

The Environmental Action Collective (EAC) and Finding Racial and Economic Equality (FREE) are having a joint general interest meeting Tuesday, March 3 at 5 p.m. in Eddy 118.

Join us for free food and vegan treats and check out what we do on campus to make a difference!

People who are interested in either group, the environmental or the social justice side, are welcome to come, and membership to both at the same time is not necessary.

About the environmental action collective

EAC throws the Fort Collins Earth Day Fair every year in City Park and works on small scale greening projects, spreading awareness of issues in the community and encouraging people to live more sustainably.

About finding racial and economic equality

FREE holds film screenings as well as rallies to spread awareness about current issues including "Turn off your TV week" and No Logo Day where students are encouraged to cover up the brands and logos on their clothes that advertise companies who use sweatshop labour or unfair labour practices.
