Competitors from all over state

The Oval Criterium is the most respected road race in Northern Colorado. First held in 1986, it is one of the older races in Colorado.

A criterium, or crit, is a bike race held on a short course (usually less than 5 km), often run on closed-off streets.

Racers travel from all over the state to compete in the criterium on the Oval at Colorado State University. There are events for Collegiate and USCF (United States Cycling Federation) in all categories from Citizen to Pro.

This is a primary fundraiser for the Rams Cycling Team spring racing season.
