Football, volleyball posters now available

June 25, 2010

As the 2010-11 Colorado State football and volleyball seasons quickly approach, Rams fans and local businesses can soon show their support by picking up the new schedule cards and posters.

Available week of June 28

Posters and schedule cards for both football and volleyball will be available free in the athletic department starting early the week of June 28.

For fans that are out of town and would like to pay for only the necessary postage, posters are available for order.

Tradition and pride

The football poster features the 2010 seniors gathered at midfield under the lights on Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. Holding a huge Rams flag, they surround the cannon, which dates back to 1920 and is one of CSU's longest standing traditions.

CSU fans and opponents alike are familiar with the cannon, fired by ROTC officers after every Rams touchdown, field goal, or PAT.

Volleyball returns strong team

Colorado State's four senior volleyball players, including the 2009 Mountain West Conference Player of the Year, Danielle Minch, are the focus of the volleyball poster.

Below the volleyball schedule is all 12 of the Rams returnees. CSU's 2009 season ended in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament, the nationally ranked Rams' 15th straight appearance in the tournament.
