Plagiarism lines blur for students in digital age

Digital technology and the Internet may be redefining how students understand the concept of authorship.

Increasing numbers of cases of copying from the Web, suggest that many students simply do not grasp that using words they did not write is a serious misdeed.

Professors who have studied plagiarism are trying to understand why it is so widespread.
