Flickers, robins, geese

Though it is often hard to see deer and fox during the day at the ELC, we can always find the birds! And if there is one thing we have a lot of on our land, it is our avian friends.

Aside from the usual flickers, robins, and geese, the ELC is home to American bald eagles (if the weather is nice, we’ll hike to the nest), our mascot the great blue heron, and a personal favorite, the kingfisher.

We’ll get out the binoculars and learn how to bird while we explore bird habitat and behaviors.

  • $10 for ELC members
  • $40 for nonmembers
