New Degree Progress Audit

March 25, 2014

The new Degree Progress Audit is here!

The new Degree Progress Audit systemThis week, when logging in to view your student’s degree audit you’ll notice things will look different.

Much improved

The new DARS system is much improved.  The upgrade offers a more visually appealing layout, making it even easier to track a student’s progress towards degree completion.  In addition to a more intuitive audit , new functionality within the system allows you to easily use tabs to view an overall course history, transfer evaluation, and an exception history summary.   You now have the ability to request a “what-if” audit reflecting multiple majors and minors.  This feature will provide you with a tentative look at a student’s progress in any program of study offered at CSU.

Processing exceptions

Advisors can process some exceptions for their students.  After participating in a training offered by the Registrar’s Office, permissions will be added to your account to allow you to substitute course work.  Where applicable, you also will be able to add options to a student’s degree program.

An upcoming training will be announced shortly, so please keep an eye out for the date and more information on Today@ Colorado State.

More information

At this time students and staff will be required to provide log-in credentials to access their DARS. Early this summer, the additional log-in requirement will be removed when single sign-on technologies are implemented.

For questions regarding the upgrade to DARS please contact Katie Risheill at the Registrar’s Office 491-5099 or
