Gather a team and use your passion and ingenuity to make a sculpture from donated food for CANStruction. CANStruction is a building competition that is the kickoff for the Cans Around the Oval food drive for the Larimer County Food Bank.
Cans Around the Oval is a Colorado State University tradition, where students, faculty, and staff partner with community members, local media, and area businesses to:
This event is Larimer County's largest single-day food drive.
Registered groups design and build a structure out of nonperishable food items to raise awareness about hunger. For example, a group CANStructed a dog bone out of food with the theme “Take a bite out of hunger.”
This year's CANStruction will be held on the hockey rink outside the Rec Center.
