Spotlight on CSU: Beyond the Beetles June 2

Spotlight on CSU speaker Jeff Jahnke, director of the Colorado State Forest Service, feels that the mountain pine beetle has claimed center stage long enough. "Colorado's forests are amazingly diverse and resilient," he says. On Wednesday, June 2, Jahnke will give a "state of the forests" address. Register by May 26!

Colorado forests resilient

State forester and director of the Colorado State Forest Service, Jeff Jahnke says that news about the mountain pine beetle has dominated headlines for the past few years. 

He feels it's time for people to hear that Colorado's forests are still amazingly diverse and resilient.

'The state of our forests'

In the Spotlight on CSU talk on Wednesday, June 2, Jahnke will speak about the state of Colorado forests, which are some of the most complex in the Intermountain West.

Attendees will receive an Austrian pine seedling. Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.
