Spring Outreach Event at Rec Center April 9

March 8, 2013

All faculty and staff can learn about health and wellness resources available on campus.

All faculty and staff members are invited to enjoy free food, exciting giveaways and informative presentations to improve your health. The annual spring outreach event is back with exciting resources for you that are available right here on campus.

On April 9, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Colorado State University’s APC, CPC, and Recreation Center are hosting an event where employees can learn about the health and wellness resources available on campus. Representatives from the Recreation Center, the Athletic Department, CSU Health Network, the Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center, and the office of Risk Management will provide information about their specific services available to you.

There will be several activities, including tours of the Recreation Center, free chair massages, presentations about different health topics, and free fitness classes available.

Free food will be provided by the Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center and the Lory Student Center. There will also be several giveaways including three six-month memberships to the Recreation Center, a one-hour massage, several day passes to the Rec Center, tickets to a sporting event, and a gift certificate for a Metabolic Rate Assessment.

We believe in the Commitment to Campus program and hope this event will enliven, invigorate and improve your health and wellness, while you enjoy a fun afternoon with friends and colleagues.
