Caribbean island cuisine

Join Michelle Milholland, and students for a continuation of our popular International Cuisine Series. This time we'll highlight a variety of Spanish-speaking countries, all with unique culinary traditions.

The Caribbean islands are influenced by multiple cultures and cuisines, combined with a tropical locale and plenty of water! We’ll focus on tasty dishes from the Spanish speaking countries of Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.

After each class, there is an optional 30-minute Q&A.

Cost

The cost for attending is $20 per class ($10 for CSU students and employees) and the fee includes recipes, education materials and lunch.

Register

If you register for all three classes and pay in advance, the total cost is just $50 ($25 for employees and students).

In addition to group programs, the Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center offers a variety of individual nutrition services:

  • One-on-one nutrition counseling
  • Nutrition assessment
  • Computerized diet analysis
  • Body composition measurements
  • Resting metabolic rate measurement
