Save the Date - President's Fall Address and University Picnic Sept. 15

Join the campus community and listen to President Tony Frank share his priorities and vision for Colorado State University for the coming year, followed by a complimentary picnic lunch.

President's Fall Address

Join the CSU community on the Oval on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m., as the President outlines:

  • University achievements of the past year
  • The priorities/vision for the coming year

The CSU Marching Band will begin performing at 11:15 a.m. with remarks promptly following at 11:30 a.m.

All-University Picnic

Immediately following the address is the annual all-University picnic, celebrating and promoting the spirit of CSU. All dining centers will be closed during the picnic except for Braiden and Corbett.  

The picnic will feature displays showcasing CSU's Commitment to Campus highlighting the many benefits made available to campus employees, including discounts and free tickets to:

  • athletic events
  • UCA events
  • the Rec Center
  • and more!

National Hispanic Heritage Month

Another addition to the picnic will be the official kickoff of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which will include a Proclamation from Mayor Doug Hutchison, followed by the musical sounds of Fleur de Cana, a contemporary salsa band from Colorado.
