Air Force scientist to speak about energy efficiency

Colorado State University students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a presentation by the chief scientist for the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command.

Donald R. Erbschloe will speak from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 in Room D102 in the Engineering Building.

His talk is entitled “From Laboratory to Flight Line: Case Studies of Operationalizing Energy Efficient Technologies.” 

The Air Force is the largest energy consumer in the federal government. Recent studies have explored technologies to improve efficiency in aviation energy.

Several organizations and offices within the Air Force have been established to focus on new operational processes and methodology to improve fuel performance of platforms.

This free event is sponsored by CSU’s College of Engineering and the Office of the Vice President for Research.
