A CSU holiday tradition

The CSU Alumni Association is hosting the 2nd Annual CSU Night at the Denver Zoo Lights! It’s a great chance for our alumni and their families, University employees and CSU friends to enjoy the holiday season.

The CSU reception takes place at the Denver Zoo on 23rd Ave. between York St. and Colorado Blvd. from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12 with the Zoo remaining open to explore on your own until 9 p.m.

Acres of lights

Come and experience a holiday light safari with more than 38 brilliantly-illuminated acres of lights, featuring more than 150 animated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they're least expected.

Special visitor from the North Pole

CSU will also provide a private "CSU only" reception room to greet a very special visitor from the North Pole - who will be decked out in his special "Ram Pride" green Santa suit! There will be lots of freebies and fun for all.

Live animal demos

As an additional treat, we will have live animal demonstrations for CSU guests and their children beginning at 5:30 p.m. Special "warming stations" throughout the Zoo will provide hot drinks and refreshments, including pretzel bites and popcorn, to keep you toasty and are included in your registration fee.
