Conversation with Carol Channing on CSU-TV

In October of 2010, Broadway, film, and TV actress Carol Channing visited Colorado State and was interviewed by Professor Emeritus Morris Burns before an audience of music and theatre students. See the hour-long interview on CSU-TV in which Channing talks about her career in which she's best known for signature leading roles in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' and 'Hello, Dolly!'

CSU-TV will broadcast an hour-long presentation of Monfort Professor-in-Residence Carol Channing's conversation with Theatre Emeritus Professor Morris Burns. The program will run on CSU-TV Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 p.m. during the weeks of Feb. 28 and March 7. The segment will continue to run periodically in the future.

In October 2010, Professor Burns hosted this conversation with Channing in which they discussed her decades-long career in Broadway, film, and television with a limited audience of music and theater students.  

Monfort's distinguished leaders

The Monfort Professors-in-Residence program, established in 2002, brings to campus distinguished leaders who are nationally and internationally renowned for contributions to the fields of business, government, the sciences, and the arts. Monfort Professors-in-Residence interact with students and enrich their learning experiences. The program is supported by the Monfort Family Foundation.

CSU-TV is an educational television station operated by Colorado State University.  Comcast cable viewers in Fort Collins may view CSU-TV on channel 11. All other viewers can connect to a live stream of CSU-TV.
