New on-campus club supports St. Jude's

November 1, 2013

Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a new service organization on the CSU campus, in conjunction with Up 'Til Dawn, is holding a fundraiser to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by asking CSU students and faculty to sponsor pinwheels.

The pinwheels will be used to show CSU's support at the St. Jude Give thanks. Walk. event on Nov. 23 at The Promenade Shops at Centerra. For a $1 donation, students may sponsor a pinwheel with their name to be displayed in the CSU section at the Give thanks. Walk. Donations can be made from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Nov. 12-14 at the CSU Flea Market in the Lory Student Center.

Supporting life-saving research

The Give thanks. Walk is raising money to fund critical life-saving research and care for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases at St. Jude. The walk is free to register, although donations are encouraged. Last year, the Northern Colorado walk raised more than $85,000 for the hospital. For information joining in the walk as an individual or with a group of friends, visit the St. Jude booth in the CSU Flea Market Nov. 12-14. Even if you can't attend the walk, sponsoring a pinwheel is a great way to support St. Jude.
