Industrial Science building renovation begins

January 28, 2009

The Industrial Sciences building is undergoing a complete renovation, estimated at $3.8 million.

Renovation requires relocation

Thanks to the generous donation of cash and in-kind services from local architects, engineers and contractors, led by Haselden Construction, LLC, there is no cost to the university or the state of Colorado for this project.  Staff and classes have been relocated and construction is ready to begin.

Construction fence

A construction fence will be installed at the Industrial Science building and on half of Rembrandt Street Feb. 2 and remain in place until May 25. There will be access for trucks (garbage, recycle etc.) and pedestrians.  The emergency exit at Laurel Hall will be open.
