Fight hunger in our community

October 17, 2010
By Jayleen Heft

It's not too late for your office and co-workers to organize and collect canned goods and monetary donations for Cans Around the Oval -- support a great campus tradition and fight hunger right here in Northern Colorado.

Easy for faculty and staff to participate

You can drop off food and monetary donations at the SLiCE office, located at 113 Lory Student Center, any time this week, or bring them to the Oval 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 during the 23rd annual Cans Around the Oval collection day.

By donating cans, collecting canned food, or even contributing what you can financially, you are making a difference in the lives of thousands of Larimer County residents. With its variety of programs, the Food Bank for Larimer County fights hunger in our own community every day.
