You can prepare for participating in the University's budget process by attending the 'Budget 101' educational sessions for the campus and the larger communities that give an overview and understanding of university finances and budgeting priorities.

Budget 101 sessions

Knowing how the University's budget process works can help you understand how decision makers formulate a budget and how you can provide well-informed input.
Colorado State University will hold three public Budget 101 educational sessions for the campus and larger communities on Monday, Mar. 2 and Tuesday, Mar. 3. Interim Provost Rick Miranda and Vice President for Finance Allison Dineen will present straightforward information designed to help attendees understand CSU's complex budget process.

Primer for participation 

Sessions of Budget 101: A primer to participation in the academic budget process are free and open to the public and will be held in the North Ballroom of the Lory Student Center on campus.  


Monday, Mar. 2, 3 to 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, Mar. 3, 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The Budget 101 sessions will provide an overview and understanding of university finances and budgeting priorities. The sessions will further ensure a solid base of information for those interested in attending and participating in the university's annual budget hearing, also open to the public, scheduled for Mar. 11 at the Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road, Fort Collins.
