CSU Parking Services has installed signage in several lots around campus reserving certain "premium" parking spaces for vehicles displaying the new CSU LEED permit.
In conjunction with Colorado State University's ongoing green initiatives, many recent building projects were designed and built with a goal of obtaining Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, or LEED, certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Part of this certification includes designating a number of parking spaces near the projects as reserved for LEED Qualifying Vehicles.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 27, to park in a LEED designated space you must:
Vehicles occupying a LEED space and not displaying a CSU LEED permit will be cited for parking without the required permit, a $30 offense.
