Early Childhood Center expansion, applications for enrollment

June 15, 2011

The nationally accredited CSU Early Childhood Center (ECC) is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for enrollment beginning Jan. 3, 2012.

Expansion plans

The ECC program is re-locating from its current location in the Gifford Building to its new home at the historic Washington School on Shields Street (3 blocks north of Moby Arena), and expanding childcare options to include infant and toddler care in addition to its current preschool offerings.

The new ECC will be licensed to provide care from 6 weeks to 6 years (pre-kindergarten); placement will be determined by date of birth and age at enrollment in January. Full- and part-time options are available.

Applications and additional information.

Applications will be reviewed and prioritized based upon current enrollment, CSU affiliation, sibling of current enrollee, date submitted, and schedule requested. The ECC is open to the Fort Collins community; however, priority is given to CSU students and employees.
