Focus on non-tenure track faculty Oct. 27-29

Eileen Schell, Ph.D., chair and director the Writing Program and chair of the Senate Agenda Committee at Syracuse University, will visit CSU, Oct. 27-29 for Campus Equity Week.

Expert on contingent labor

In addition to her 2010 book Rhetorica in Motion: Feminist Rhetorical Methods and Methodologies, Schell is the author of two books on contingent labor:

Professor Schell will participate in three major events during her visit:

  • A keynote address at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28 in the TILT auditorium, Room 221
  • An open hearing inviting exchanges among individual non tenure-track faculty and a panel on Thursday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Greyrock Room (Lory Student Center)
  • A non tenure-track faculty workshop on Friday, Oct, 29 from 10-11:30 a.m. in Education, Room 2
