The first annual Celebration of Graduates will be held on Friday, May 1 from 7-9 p.m. in the Main Ballroom of the Lory Student Center. The program will be preceded by a reception in the Lory Student Center's Cherokee Park from 6-6:45 p.m.

"The students whose graduations we're celebrating have been involved directly or indirectly with one of the seven advocacy offices, either connected through academics, work study, or volunteerism," said Linda Hefner, Office of Women's Programs and Studies.

 Appreciation for richness of diversity

The program will include individual recognition of each student and an appreciation for the richness of the diversity they bring to Colorado State University. It will also include a special acknowledgement of family members, along with staff and faculty mentors who have helped students along the way.
