Claps, stomps, synchronization

Stepping is a rhythmic motion that includes claps, stomps, and hits. It is more than dancing because it involves making sounds with your body. It is about the routine - synchronization of the steps by the step team. It is about energy of stepping for entertainment, but also for bonding and pride within an organization.

Longest running step show in Colo.

The show, Hip Hop Explosion Revived, is a step competition where fraternities and sororities compete for prize money. A fraternity and a sorority winner will be named. This is the 16th year of this show sponsored by Black Student Alliance at Colorado State, making it longest running step show in Colorado.

The music will be provided by DJ Dozen.
