The poster display will serve as a practice session for presentations that some of the students will make at the national meeting of the Merck-Merial Scholars at North Carolina State University in early August.
The Merck-Merial-NIH National Veterinary Scholars Symposium brings together outstanding scientists and veterinary scholars participating in mentored research programs in colleges of veterinary medicine and veterinary schools across the United States and Canada.
The mission of the Merck-Merial Veterinary Scholars Program is to expose veterinary students in their first or second year of veterinary school to biomedical research and career opportunities in research.
