Multi-use facility has impressive dimensions

The impressive size and versatility of the Indoor Practice Facility are described by Inside Ram Sports writer Tony Phifer in the Fall 2009 issue of Colorado State Magazine:

"The centerpiece of the 66,267-square-foot facility, located east of the Moby Arena complex, is an artificial turf surface that's the same width as standard college football fields. The structure's design allows for full practices including punting and kicking.

"Amenities also include storage, meeting, and sports medicine rooms and state-of-the-art equipment to record practice sessions."

The facility will accommodate multiple sports -- in fact, the football, volleyball and men's and women's basketball teams can hold practice at the same time.

Academic and Training Center

Located to the south of the McGraw Athletic Center, the Academic and Training Center features a state-of-the-art weight room and a two-story academic center with four private tutoring rooms, a computer lab with 30 workstations, and offices for our academic staff.
