Up 'Til Dawn

Up 'Til Dawn is an annual event devoted to facilitating donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as well as having fun in the process.

On Nov. 13, in the Lory Student Center from 6-10 p.m. the Fort Collins community will come together to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for cancer research and treatment.

The cause

Up 'Til Dawn is a fundraiser that is hosted by more than 180 campuses nation wide designed to provide students with valuable work experience and a good cause to get behind.

Despite the name, this effort lasts several months, ending with the final Up 'Til Dawn event to unite the community and gather last minute donations. All funds earned will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help faciltate care for children and their families, as well as research efforts.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Located in Memphis, Tenn., is known for providing free healthcare to children who have been diagnosised with cancer for 50 years. St. Jude also is the leading center for enrollment and successfull treatment of childhood cancer in the United States.

Event activities

Up 'Til Dawn's festivies will include:

  • team building activities
  • silent auction
  • letter writing

Participants will also receive dinner and a T-shirt for their efforts and commitment to the cause.

Come prepared

Each Up 'Til Dawn participant is asked to bring either

  • a list of 30 addresses to send a request of donation letter, or
  • a $100 check.
