September 8, 2009

Proper ergonomics key to comfort

Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders, or MSD’s, is becoming an issue of great importance in workplaces across the country. Although the number of injuries is decreasing, injuries still arise because of poor ergonomic practices in the office. Improper equipment such as chairs, furniture and computer accessories, awkward postures, repetitive motions and other related issues all can lead to musculoskeletal disorders.

Correct practices

Increasing awareness of proper ergonomics and how to implement the correct practices in the office is the first step toward preventing musculoskeletal disorders.

Come and learn how to work effectively without hurting yourself in the process.
