Alternative transportation fair October 12

Want to know more about the monetary, health, environmental, and psychological benefits of alternative transportation? Off-Campus Life will hold its annual Sensible Modes of Alternative Road Transportation Fair on Wednesday, October 12 on the Lory Student Center Plaza.

S.M.A.R.T. stands for Sensible Modes of Alternative Road Transportation.

Off-Campus Life is excited to host the annual S.M.A.R.T. Fair on Wednesday, October 12 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lory Student Center East Plaza.

Getting around town is a need everyone shares! The SMART Fair will promote sensible modes of road transportation such as carpooling, bicycling, walking, riding the bus, and shuttling, to name just a few.

The purpose of SMART Fair is to educate our community about the:

  • Environmental, financial, and health benefits that result from using sensible forms of transportation
  • Importance of reducing auto emissions in Fort Collins
  • Transportation options that exist for commuting to and from campus and throughout Fort Collins
  • On and off-campus resources that can support sensible transportation in Fort Collins

Wide spectrum of organizations represented

SMART Fair will bring together a variety of businesses, non-profit organizations, student organizations and Colorado State University offices that support sensible modes of transportation.

There will be free giveaways, demonstrations, as well as opportunities to register bikes! Don’t miss this exciting, free, event!
