Open forum on CSU FY10 budget to be held Monday

The Colorado State University community is invited to provide feedback on the proposed draft FY10 budget at an open forum and public comment session from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, May 11, in the Cherokee Park Room in the Lory Student Center.

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, Jr., on May 1 signed the Long Bill authorizing the state’s budget for next year. This action allows CSU to move ahead with its budget proposal for fiscal year 2010.

Draft budget online

A draft of the budget is now online and available for review on the President’s Office webpage at

CSU’s FY10 budget will be formally considered by the Board of Governors of the CSU System at its June meeting.

Share your feedback

There are several avenues for sharing your feedback on the FY10 budget:

  • send an e-mail to;
  • send comments via a letter to Interim President Dr. Tony Frank in care of the President’s Office; or
  • join the forum on Monday.
