Metro State to open new art gallery on Santa Fe Drive

Metro State College of Denver will reopen its Center for Visual Arts at a new location at 965 Santa Fe Dr., which will feature cutting-edge exhibitions and community outreach programs.

The Metro State Foundation spent nearly $1.5 million on the property. The Boettcher Foundation provided a lead grant of $425,000 to spark other donations and help make the transaction possible.

The new location will allow Metro State to enhance many of its outreach programs including, the Center's Art Builds Communities servicing at-risk children.
