Aspen Grille preps special menu for last week

The Aspen Grille, CSU's student run restaurant, will feature special menus throughout the final week of classes, allowing student sous chefs to express their originality in creating and executing some exciting lunch options.

The special menu will be offered from 11 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Dec. 10-13. The Aspen Grille will not be serving from its regular menu. 

Special menu items

Tuesday, Dec. 10: Student Sous Chef Devance Cox will prepare a three-course meal featuring Pecan Blackened Salmon with purple potatoes. The meal costs $12 and includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert.

Wednesday, Dec. 11: Student Sous Chef Carrie Miller will prepare a three-course meal featuring Colorado Bison Bolognese over pappardelle pasta. The meal costs $12 and includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert.

Thursday, Dec. 12, and Friday, Dec. 13: Chef Instructor Garrett Overlee will be serving a Brunch Buffett.  The buffet costs $12 and includes a non-alcoholic beverage.

As a reminder, the Aspen Grille will be closed during finals week, and for the duration of the holiday break.

Reservations encouraged

Early reservations are strongly encouraged. To make reservations, please call the Aspen Grille, Tuesday through Friday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at (970) 491-7006.

The Aspen Grille continues to operate in Lory Student Center North despite the construction. The restaurant is run by the Hospitality Management Program students and is in its eighth year.

Hospitality management is a major in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, a part of the College of Health and Human Sciences.
