CSU to hold third annual RAM Bicycle Classic May 22

The Colorado State University College of Business Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA Program will hold the third annual RAM Bicycle Classic on Sunday, May 22. Proceeds from the event will fund student scholarships and summer field work for GSSE students in developing regions of the world.

New this year will be a post-ride celebration featuring a catered pasta bar, live music and New Belgium beer. Former Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter and CSU President Tony Frank plan to join the ride, which starts and ends on CSU’s campus.

Four rides available

Four rides are available to suit various fitness and age levels:
- The 101 Mile Ride: $75 entrance fee, 7 a.m. start
- The Metric Century Ride: 61 miles, $75 entrance fee, 8 a.m. start
- The ½ Metric Century Ride: 34 miles, $75 entrance fee, 9 a.m. start
- The Family Cruiser Ride: 11 miles, $75 entrance fee or $130 entrance fee for two adults and two children 10 and under, 10 a.m. start

Special entrance fee for students - children under 10 are free

Students ages 11 to 22 have a $35 entrance fee for any ride, and children under 10 may participate free of charge.

Registration must be received by Thursday, May 19, to take advantage of the prices listed above. Day-of-the-event registration will cost an additional $10. Registration includes the ride, T-shirt, ride support, post-ride celebration and catered pasta lunch. Rider check-in and registration begins at 6:30 a.m. Visit the website to register.

CSU's GSSE program

CSU’s Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA Program equips students to become global social entrepreneurs, improving the lives of people while building profitable ventures. The program admits 25 students each year, about half of whom come from abroad.
