Changes at the University Club

September 1, 2010

The University Club is excited to announce that they've made changes and improvements to the benefits offered to members of the Club.

Expanded continental breakfast

An expanded continental breakfast every weekday now includes healthy cereals, cottage cheese and a yogurt bar with delicious, crunchy granola in addition to the pastries for which they are well-known. Additional menu items will be offered soon as well.

Happy Hours each Thursday

Members of the University Club will also enjoy Happy Hours each Thursday from 4-6 p.m. with complimentary appetizers crafted by the Aspen Grille's Tony Beckman. The bar accepts cash, RamCash, Visa, or MasterCard.

Membership in the University Club is open to faculty, staff, retirees, graduate students and alumni. Members receive:

  • 20% discount at the Aspen Grille
  • 10% discount on most items at the CSU Bookstore (exclusions apply)
  • daily continental breakfast
  • weekly happy hours
  • invitations to special events

The University Club is tucked away on the upper level on the Lory Student Center. The UClub is the ideal place to meet with colleagues to share a laugh or discuss the week's events. It also offers comfortable seating in a relaxed atmosphere so that you can catch up on your reading, grade some papers, or watch the news on the bar's television.
