CSU and the Stock Show

Colorado State University has a long and storied connection to the National Western Stock Show, one of Denver's and the Rocky Mountain West's most anticipated annual traditions.

Today, the partnership between the National Western Stock Show and Colorado State remains strong. “The National Western Stock Show continues its history of generous giving and support of Colorado State. The Stock Show is the largest individual scholarship donor in the College of Agricultural Sciences,” said Rick Brase, director of development.

CSU booth and Ag Adventure exhibit

Plan to stop by the CSU exhibit booth on the third floor of the Hall of Education for information on academic programs, green and gold beads, giveaway opportunities for alumni and coloring books for kids.

The booth will open at 9 a.m. CAM the Ram and the Ram Handlers will make an appearance at the booth from 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Tour CSU’s Ag Adventure, an interactive exhibit in conjunction with several Colorado commodity groups located next to the CSU booth. The Ag Adventure exhibit includes hands-on displays from a variety of commodity groups and trade organizations.

Ag Adventure teaches children and other visitors about livestock production, crop production, animal husbandry, land stewardship and the “farm-to-plate” process through a series of activities.
